The PRE as a breed has evolved into a horse that can now compete with any other breed of horse in the world, in any discipline. From his ancient beginnings as a war horse, chosen for his incredible agility, and the ability to “turn on a sixpence”, he has proved himself over and over as versatile, willing, courageous and talented.
More recently the breed has been taking the dressage world by storm and bringing outstanding results for a breed that has only been competing on the world stage for a very short period (since 1996). The achievements at International level speak for themselves with a medal placing at European, World and Olympic levels.
The purpose of this Stud’s breeding programme is to produce a horse that is competitive and functional in the modern world, combined with the conformation worthy of a Show Champion.
In a relatively short period, since 2002, we have bred and produced a record number of winning horses and won numerous National Championship titles. In 2008, we made history by winning National Champion Mare, National Champion Stallion, Adult Movement Champion and National Champion Colt. Since then, our results speak for themselves, and this comment is not made lightly or born from arrogance, just many years of dedication, hard work and continuous effort. There are usually less than 15 horses in the stud at any given time, so this is no small achievement.
